Our goat milk soap is not like commercially made soaps. Did you know that most commercially made soaps really aren’t soap at all- they are actually detergents? Detergents can strip the skin of its oils and use harsh chemicals to cleanse the skin which can be very drying.

Our small batch, handmade soap is made with a TON of oils that may soften while also cleansing you. The colorant we use is made of clay mica- a natural ingredient. Our fragrances are made of natural plant based essential oils or high quality fragrance oils. No harsh chemicals are used in any of our products. We use the cold process method to make these soaps. We attended classes for several months to learn how to make a safe, moisturizing and cleansing product for you.

Our soap is also made up of at least 35% olive oil. In ancient times many people use to bathe in only olive oil. Olive oil creates a mild and creamy lather in soap. Olive oil makes the bar long lasting and creates tiny bubbles. Olive oil contains many antioxidants that are good for you to consume along with applying it on your skin. Olive oil is very moisturizing due to being high in fatty acids.

Directions:

Apply a small amount directly to skin on body and rub into skin until the white tint dissipates.

Ingredients:

Unscented: Sweet almond oil, avocado oil, emulsifying wax, stearic acid, shea butter, distilled water, goat milk, optiphen (preservative).

Our dog shampoo helped my dogs develop soft and shiny coats. My 3 dogs have 3 very different coat types and it worked great on all of them. The soap produced a great lather that completely washed away when rinsed off. My experience with store bought dog soaps is I have to rinse them off for a very long time and they still feel like they have a residue on them- not the case with this soap. Did you know that dogs are super sensitive to smells? They can smell about 10x better than we can. Some essential oils are not good for dogs and some scents certain dogs just don’t like. So I decided to keep my dog shampoo unscented so they would enjoy their bath time experience better. They actually found the soap to be delicious since they kept trying to lick it. Goat milk soap is full of vitamins and minerals to help their skin stay protected from the sun and the harsh outdoor elements. The fatty acids that naturally occur in the goat milk help to keep the dog’s skin extra moisturized. If dogs are itchy due to the shampoo chemical residue, then my goat milk soap may help to eliminate this itchiness. Using goat milk soap has helped some dogs rebuild damaged and broken skin near hot spots. The naturally occurring antioxidants may help to reduce skin cancer. My goat milk soap is chemical free. The only ingredients in it are olive oil, coconut oil, goat milk and sodium hydroxide.
